Be part of a new research study, shed light on important issues, and help a fellow student!
University is a great place for learning, expanding our skills and understanding the world better. But university is also where new knowledge is created through research studies.
Sociology Honours student, Hannah Beattie, is inviting university students who are also single parents and the primary caregiver of one or more child (aged 0-12) to participate in an interview as part of her honours project.
The interview will take around 60 minutes to complete and will focus on both your caring and university experiences. Your answers and feedback will help to develop university policies and practices to help support single parents to succeed at university.
Participants will also receive a $20 Coles Myer gift card to acknowledge their time.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating in Hannah’s research, please email Hannah with your contact details at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hannah’s project has received ethics approval from the La Trobe University Human Ethics Committee, ref: HEC18490.
