ASSC Student Advisory Group – 2016 Review

The Student Advisory Group (SAG) of ASSC had their final meeting on 13th October. The team met for the first time on September 17th 2015. Throughout the year, they were a valuable asset in providing student input into various ASSC initiatives.

The group attended six monthly meetings throughout the year where they shared their ideas about La Trobe and the college of ASSC, participated in focus groups and contributed to the ASSC college student transition experience and retention initiatives.

The group participated in focus groups on topics such as orientation, student communications, the Ready4Uni website as well as this very blog! At the final meeting, 18 SAG members received a certificate of appreciation from the Academic ProVice-Chancellor for the ASSC College, Professor Paula Baron.

We had several support areas from across the university share information and consult with the SAG throughout the year. The College of ASSC would like to thank all 18 members of the group for their input and support throughout the year.

SAG in 2017

We would love to get as many ASSC students as possible on the SAG in 2017. Keep an eye on the blog in February 2017 for more details around the registration process.
