La Trobe’s Hidden Gems: Donald Whitehead Building

Most students have already found their perfect study space. You know, the one that’s comfortable, quiet and has space for friends to join.

While we all know the library is one of the most ideal places to be, across the Bundoora campus there a few buildings that have some of the best spaces for students to use.

One of those is the The Donald Whitehead building.

Located near the East Lecture Theatre and Simpson Lawn, the Donald Whitehead building is one of La Trobe‚Äôs newest additions to the Bundoora campus. Opened in 2017, each floor features brand new technologies and seating areas for staff and students.

With expansive spaces, this part of the Business School makes for a great place to sit down, relax and study.

The various floors feature a variety of study spaces. Including large couches and tables, study rooms, sink spaces and a variety of vending machines.

However, one of the best finds in this building is the charging station. With 30 spaces to put your phone and computer, these lockers allow you to plug in and walk away. The perfect place to charge your devices, while you take a well-earned study break.

This building has a lot to offer students. Close to the Agora, this is one of the most productive places to be on campus.
